God Help Me

Is it wrong that during the prayer/song section at church this morning I PRAYED the lady behind me would stop singing. Seriously. I know you should never be judgemental - especially not INSIDE the house of the Lord. But seriously, her signing was hurting my ears. My God woman, tone it down a bit!

I think I am going to hell for sure...God help me!

We have these issues in church, too, but it's usually my daughters praying that their dad won't sing! Talk about not being able to carry a tune in a bucket--we think he lost the bucket, too!

LOL! If I go to he**, I hope it will be for something worse than praying someone to stop singing! I think God understands.

I know exactly what you mean. We visited a small church once with a tiny choir. You only heard one person in this tiny choir and that one person was... um... not good. After the service, she came to talk to us (it was very obvious which person was... not singing well) and told my husband that she was glad he was a singer, because the choir needed help -- she was the only decent singer in it!!
We had to get out quickly before we burst out laughing.

I feel your pain. How can you focus on the message when your ears are ringing??

yikes...where were you sitting? Was it a greying woman in a brown and turquoise dress with too many kids?
