Is the glass half-empty or half-full?

I guess it all depends on how you look at it...

Half-empty, as in the fact that I worked out so hard this week, and only had a one pound decrease...

Half-full, as in, I am under 200 pounds for the first time since month 5 of my first pregnancy 5 years ago, I am on day 4 of my period, and I only have one more week of full fast left.

I am trying to be more optimistic than pessimistic...but it is hard...

Don't be discouraged! You are still losing, and that's what matters.

Half full is my vote! I know when I slipped under 200 pounds I did the serious happy dance. And just think next week will be even better after you drop some water weight.

YOU RAWK!

I think 1 pound is fabulous seeing as how you have your period. I ALWAYS weigh more when I have my period! A loss is a loss! Be proud! You ROCK!!!!

You are doing great! I know that people hit plateaus in weight loss sometimes, but I think losing a pound while you're on your period is definitely not a plateau! Are you excited or worried about next week?

Thank you for coming by and giving me support in light of the news about my mother. I really appreciate it.

You should definitely be optimistic. Weight is such crazy stuff. Like, a week should be more than a pound, but then it turns up as a 3-pound loss the next week. You're totally headed in the right direction. That's what counts. xo
