Transformation has begun!

I am officially starting week 10 of my weight management program. I started on September 9th with a 1200 calorie diet - then for the last 7 weeks I have been on a liquid diet. It is medically supervised and includes weekly group meetings with a behaviour specialist and weekly doctor appointments and scheduled labs.
The results are starting to show...and I could not be happier or prouder of my efforts.

Last night I did not anticipate a big weekly weight loss - day 4 of my period (TMI!!!) - but was pleasantly surprised when the scales dipped by 5 pounds! Therefore, my total weight loss is now 33.5 pounds.

The transformation has begun!

This photo was taken in August - it is simply NOT a flattering photo - but it helped me decide to get serious and loose the weight - funny how powerful a photo can be!

These two photos were taken in September 2008. In the second one I am basically hiding behind Madigan - ashamed of my size.

Here I am on October 24 - since I am wearing the same t-shirt in all the photos, you can really see that my transformation has begun!

Look at that skinny face - way to go!!!

Thanks for sharing the info about your hip pain. I've rested it for the last 3 days and put a stool under my desk at work to elevate my feet - it's much better and only hurt briefly yesterday.
